Refund & Cancellation

Our promise: If the workmanship is defective, we'll rework it free. If we cancel your order, you get a full refund within 5–7 business days. Custom-stitched garments, once completed, are non-refundable because they're made uniquely for you — but we stand behind our quality.

1. Cancellations by you

1.1 Before pickup

You can cancel an order free of charge any time before the fabric has been picked up by our agent. Any advance payment made will be refunded in full within 5–7 business days.

1.2 After pickup but before stitching begins

If you cancel after pickup but before our tailor has begun cutting/stitching:

Once our tailor has begun cutting or stitching, the order cannot be cancelled because fabric and labor costs have been committed. No refund will be issued, but the completed garment will still be delivered to you.

Custom design orders (where we recreate from your reference images) require 50% advance payment, which is non-refundable once design consultation has been completed and stitching has begun.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method used for the order. For COD orders, we will request your UPI ID or bank account details.

If you paid a partial advance and we cancel before stitching begins, the full advance is refunded. If cancellation is partial our way (e.g., one of two items can't be made), the affected item's amount is refunded.

StitchDoor is not liable for delays or inability to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, public health emergencies, government restrictions, riots, or utility outages. We will notify affected customers and offer full refunds in such cases.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions and is governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at Pune, Maharashtra.
