1. Introduction

Welcome to StitchDoor. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the StitchDoor website at stitchdoor.in, our mobile application, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

StitchDoor is a service brand operated by COSCO TRADE, a sole Proprietorship registered under the laws of India, GSTIN 27BDZPT2381N1ZD, with its principal place of business at Flat No 102, First Floor, Elysium, Kasrasai Road, Marunje Village, Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune, Maharashtra 411057 (hereinafter "we", "us", "our", or "StitchDoor").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Services Offered

StitchDoor provides online booking of tailoring services including:

• Stitching of blouses, kurtas, salwar suits, and other garments
• Alterations and adjustments to existing garments
• Custom design tailoring based on customer references
• Embroidery and embellishment services
• Doorstep pickup and delivery of fabric and finished garments within our service areas

Service areas currently include Marunje, Hinjewadi (Phase 1, 2, 3), Wakad, Baner, and surrounding localities in Pune, Maharashtra. Service areas may be expanded or modified at our discretion.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age or accessing the Service under parental/guardian supervision to book services through StitchDoor. By using our Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

4. Booking and Orders

4.1 Placing an order

Orders may be placed via WhatsApp, phone call, or through the StitchDoor mobile application once launched. Each order is considered confirmed only after you receive a written order confirmation from us with an order ID, estimated delivery date, and total payable amount.

4.2 Pricing

Prices displayed on our website are indicative starting prices. Final pricing depends on garment type, design complexity, fabric handling, and any customizations requested. A final quote will be shared with you before pickup. All prices are inclusive of applicable GST (18%) unless otherwise stated.

4.3 Pickup and delivery

A nominal pickup/delivery fee per trip applies for all orders, and home-visit measurement fees apply if opted — current fees are quoted to you before booking confirmation. We endeavor to provide same-day or next-day pickup depending on your location and time of booking, but pickup times are not guaranteed. Delivery timelines are communicated at pickup based on the specific garment and workload, and are estimates only.

4.4 Measurements

Accurate measurements are the customer's responsibility unless you opt for our home-visit measurement service. StitchDoor is not liable for fit issues arising from incorrect customer-provided measurements; however, we offer one complimentary alteration within 7 days of delivery for such cases.

5. Payments

5.1 Payment methods

We accept payment via UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, select digital wallets, and Cash on Delivery (COD). Online payments are processed through Razorpay or equivalent secure payment gateways.

5.2 Payment timing

Depending on your selection, payment may be:

• Full payment at booking — may be required for custom design orders and higher-value orders
• Partial advance (50%) — at pickup, balance on delivery
• COD — full payment at delivery, subject to eligibility

5.3 Invoices

GST-compliant invoices are issued to your registered email/WhatsApp upon payment completion. Invoices are issued under the name "COSCO TRADE" (trading as StitchDoor).

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Our cancellation and refund policy is detailed separately on our Refund & Cancellation Policy page, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

7. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

• Provide accurate contact information, delivery address, and measurements
• Hand over fabric in a clean, usable condition at pickup
• Be available at the scheduled pickup/delivery time, or inform us at least 2 hours in advance of any change
• Inspect the delivered garment at the time of receipt and raise any concerns within 48 hours
• Not share your account credentials (when the app is launched) with any third party

8. Quality and Workmanship

We take pride in partnering with vetted, skilled tailors. All orders undergo a quality check before dispatch. In the rare event of a workmanship defect (loose seams, uneven stitches, pattern defects attributable to our tailor), we offer free rework within 7 days of delivery, upon receipt of the garment and photographic evidence of the issue.

StitchDoor is not responsible for:

• Fabric defects, color bleeding, or shrinkage originating from the customer's fabric
• Wear-and-tear over time
• Issues arising from customer-provided incorrect measurements or unclear design instructions
• Minor variations in pattern execution that are inherent to handcraft

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the StitchDoor website and app, including logos, designs, text, and graphics, is the property of COSCO TRADE or its licensors and is protected under Indian copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

Design references you share with us (Pinterest images, photos, sketches) are assumed to be either your own or licensed for personal use. StitchDoor does not claim ownership of customer-submitted references but also bears no liability for copyright issues arising from third-party designs you provide.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StitchDoor's total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Pune, Maharashtra.
